Q.when is the best time of year to buy a used car? im living in germany and looking at an audi

A.December. Nobody's interested in buying, but the salesmen are keen to achieve their annual targets. Spring (like now) is probably the worst time. I can recall a car salesman telling me once that whenever people ask him; "When is the best time to buy a car" he always replied; "Now - because the car you own will never be worth as much, and the car you want will never be as cheap" !! Which is, of course, rubbish, becuase the car you want will depreciate in value over time, so will almost certainly be as cheap, if not cheaper, in say 6 months time. If you want a small car then September is suppoesd to be good because places tend to replace their courtesy cars for new reg ones.
