Best Used Car Values

Q.I am blind. I have a 1998 dodge neon, and need to get out from under it without messing up my credit. The payoff is more than the car is worth. I would keep it and keep paying on it, but the person that was driving me around in it moved on to better things. As a matter of fact, they aren't even in town any more. I am paying somewhere $1200 a year just for insurance a year. Is there anyway I can sell this car? I don't want to have to pay some $430.00 a month just to have this car to sit in my driveway and not be driven. Bet I will get a pretty thread on this one, and will just sit back and get everyones views on this subject. Thanks for any advice someone could give.
