Best Used Cars To Buy

Q.I'm looking for a weekend car. Something like an 80's 325...or possibly an M3. Also where would be a good website to find cars? I'm in Michigan (USA)

A.87-91 are mechanically similar but have cosmetic differences. I would say 88-89 preferably because they have the ellipsoid headlights. I don't care for the boy-racerish front air dam on the 87. 89 is the ideal year because they have the smaller, color-matched bumpers. The 88 has the bigger clumsy looking aluminum bumpers. The 87-91 325is comes with limited slip, full on-board computer, M steering wheel, very supportive leather seats, power sunroof, power windows and locks, 14 x 6.5" BBS wheels, interior lights on the rear view mirror, and the list goes on. I can never remember all the features at the same time. I feel the E30 325is is one of the best used cars you can get. Be willing to travel for a good, clean 325is tho. I had mine shipped from southern California.
