Best Way To Sell Used Car

Q.I want to sell a 13 year old camry with some cosmetic and minor mechanical defects. However, I don't want to sell it to a private party myself because of the hassles and risks of dealing w/ strangers. I'm thinking of offering it to used car dealers. But are there better options? The blue book says it's worth around $1000. I'm wondering if selling the car as parts would yield more than that -- it is reported that there is a high demand for old camry parts.

A.Look at the blue book trade in value, not retail. Then you can see if any used car dealer is interested in your car. If you have the room, time and know how, you can probably make more money parting out the car yourself. You just have to find the clients for your parts. Lastly, you can always try ebay.
