Blue Book Of Used CarQ.Does anyone know if there is an online boat 'bluebook'? There is one for cars that Kelly Blue Book has at http://www.kbb.com but I'd like to find one for boats. A.There's a fellow who reads this newsgroup who works for the boating "blue book" company. He has stated any number of times that his company does not have its product on line. Keep in mind that a boating blue book is going to be less scientific, if that is the right word, than the auto blue books. In the automotive world, big regional used car auctions help set used car prices and values, and these deals are reflected heavily in the blue book prices. There are no regional or national boat auctions or used boat markets. I haven't seen an analysis of the statistical work that goes into the boating blue books. It would be interesting to read.
