Blue Book Prices On Used Cars

Q.I have found a 1993 Honda Accord EX 4 door sedan with 20,000 miles and automatic transmission for $15,500. Blue Book value is $15,000 wholesale, and $17,650 retail. Can anyone tell me if this is a decent price (assuming the car's in perfect condition)? Let me add that I can get a new 94 Accord (same options, plus slightly stronger engine, dual airbags, non-CFC A/C) for $18-$18.5k. A.My definition. Low book - what you try to buy a used vehicle for. High book - what you try to sell a used vehicle for. Low book + high book / 2 - usually a fair price. If you can buy a good vehicle for less than low book... wonderful. If you can sell an average vehicle for more than high book... even beter. If you can trade your used vehicle at high book and get a new or used vehicle at or near low book... that's almost as good as a wet dream.
