Blue Book Value For Used Cars

Q.Does anyone know of a jewish organization that will accept donated cars in New England (I live in NW Vermont)? Preferably one that give it to someone who is in need of a car to get to work rather than an organization that will sell it and reap the profit.

A.The car is in good shape, but it is old and has a few dents - but still runs great. The blue book value is $4000 - but I doubt we could sell it for more than $2000. Donating the car rather than selling it will also allow us to get a tax break. There is a great organization near us called goodnews garage that repairs used cars and then sells them to needy families for the cost of repairs - but the organization is Lutheran and I think we would rather give the car to a jewish charity.
