Buy Cheap Used Cars

Q.How do people manage with very small cars like a Geo Metro? My father-in-law is 6'4", my husband 6'2" and my son likely to be taller than both. Can someone this tall be comfortable in a small car? Espcially in a (usually non-existant) back seat? which one is better?

A.I owned a geo metro (91) for 3 years, it cost me $5900 new and I got 49 miles to the gallon, I tracked every gallon and mile I put in it. It cost me $128 per month to finance it and I never ever put more than $10 in gas in the car (to fill it up) [I'm a man, I drive on E all the time!] Oh, that $8-$10 dollars of gas would take me almost 500 miles before I filled up. Also, I'm 6'2" and I had NO problem with room in the car. Now I have a Neon and I love it, except for the gas milage (34mpg), the NEON has more room than most mid sized cars, and it is in the sub-compact class, just like the geo-metro. I saved up so much money by owning a new geo that I bought my first new house a couple of years later. Used cars are money pits, fix this, fix that, a new one of those, unless you do your own car repair, buy cheap, dependable new transportation. I'm not so rich that I can buy cheap stuff
