Buy Used Car Online

Q.I've bought everything online that I can think of except groceries and a car. Even ordered take-out online cuz I could. Anybody ever bought a car online before? Were you happy with how it went?

A.the trick is to find the people who're selling for the right reason. Good ones are usually, got married need a family car, former owner is unable to drive (cars that used to belong to seniors are usually decent) can afford something better so upgraded etc etc. My car was bought used and the reason the guy gave me was that his daughter didn't want to drive it (???) but the mechanical inspection turned out fine and I've put 45 000km on it in 18mo for $2500 cdn including the maintenance and oil changes I've done that's not bad. All the sites I found with the online purchase option, like Access Toyota, say they account for market demand in the price, this meant they took $70 off the MSRP. You can do alot better in person.
