Q.I want to buy my first second hand car for 2000-2500$. What should I buy and where? I live in New York. I want it to be 4-doors ,middle class and reliable car

A.If you're at Rutgers, check the local NJ papers, maybe even put up "wanted" posters on campus bulletin boards. The NY used car market is tough -- if you really want to buy in NYC, check out the auto auctions, but bring along someone who really knows how to check used cars, unless you feel confident enough to do so yourself. The auctions usually don't let you test drive, but all cars must be in shape to drive, at least off the lot.
