Find Used Honda CarsQ.I have been trying to find a four door accord for my daughter, a 94 or newer and havent had much luck, I did find a 94 with 99k on it and they still wanted 9k for it. I priced a new accord for 17500. I can get 99 model grand ams for 11900 with 20k on them. IT seems like a no brainer to me. What do you think? A.I can understand your frustration but it's really only supply-and-demand. people demand good, used cars and they go after Hondas especially. This drives the price up. I'm a HUGE Honda fan but my brother and his wife are not. Here's their experience with her cars: 1990 Grand Am - Not a bad car, required some thing like brakes prematurely but not too bad. 1993 Grand Am - Pretty car but a serious headache to deal with. One night, the temp in the greater Albany, NY area got well below zero and the horn started blowing non-stop for no reason. We lived in the same house back then and he had to get his ass out of bed, get dressed and go down and pull the battery wire until he could affect a proper fix the following (cold) morning. 1995(?) Oldsmobile Cutlass - This was the 2 door, mid size. Cool looking car, no problems that know of but they traded it for a used Jeep Cherokee after about 2 years when the baby came. 199? Jeep Cherokee - Super clean vehicle. All white, black leather interior and immaculately maintained. What a piece of junk! they had all sorts of electrical and engine problems (keep in mind my brother is a mechanic) They got rid of this clunker after about 16 months. My sis in-law now drives a new Chrysler 4-door. I'm not sure which one it is but it has funky-looking headlights. Sure is pretty. I wonder if it will last? I have owned Hondas and Acuras all the while, and drive about 200% of the miles my Sis-in-law does. I lost a radiator in 1993 (cause still unknown) and an exhaust system on my current Civic after 80K miles through N.E. salt & slush. Other than that, I've only had one minor electrical switch replaced in my car under warranty (free to me) and the dealership said they've never seen one of those go bad before. That's it. Perhaps you should just lease a new Honda for her? Other Questions : Used Auto Parts For SaleLast weekend I was at a gun show looking to sale my AR-15 and purchase a new one.
