Find Value Of Used Car

Q.Does anyone know a source to find what the value is of a 1989 240sx fastback. The car is in the same condition as a new car, never winter driven. Are they worth keeping ?? Do they eventually increase in value if so after how many years??

A.I have an '89 240SX with 125,000 miles. It is in excellent condition. While it might only be worth $4000 + on the used car market, it would be unlikely to find a used car at twice that price that could replace my car in terms of condition, reliability, and performance. I like the car and I know its condition. About 10K miles ago, I made the decision to keep this car, purchased new, another couple of years. With this in mind, I bought new tires, new brakes, a tune-up, and a new clutch. I wouldn't take less than $6000 for my car, while the market value is thousands less.
