Buying a used car?

Q.Buying a used car? Im about to spend around 5,000 on a vechical. I was thinking i wanted a Dodge Durango but i asked people about it on internet and many people said it was a bad choose; and they said a Jeep Grand Cherokee was a much better choose (what do they get on gas mileage about). What do you think of that, waht year should I get, and about how many miles will it have? How many miles do these vehicals usally last? I live in Maine and im going to want to get a lift for it, does anyone know how much of a lift i can get legally? What kind of lift should i get? How will it afect my gas mileage? Should i get sway bars or anything else with it as well?

A.Well The Grand Cherokee and Durango I think would both be just as bad with mileage, with the slight edge going to the Grand Cherokee. Frankly, I wouldn't consider either. I would look into a Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 or Subaru Outback if all you need is an AWD car to get through snow. But if you need something truck based, I'm partial to the Isuzu Rodeo- they seem to be popular in my area despite the little snowfall. For the Grand Cherokee, I would recommend a 97 or 98. But I'd really rather have the Isuzu Rodeo.
