New And Used Auto Parts

Q.I have broken the lens of one of these driving lights. Ford Australia can supply a new lens (Part No. F6D2-15K203AA)for $A229 (about $US147) which makes it a *very* expensive piece of glass, or I can buy a complete light assembly for $A319 ($US204). The lens measures about 4 3/4" x 2 7/8" (120 mm x 73 mm. There are no part numbers anywhere on the light body but the glass has the following markings embossed on it: At the top centre it is marked "TOP" In the upper right quadrant is a symbol which I can only describe as looking like tram tracks in the form of a capital K with the lower leg missing. I suspect this may be the manufacturer's logo. In the lower left quadrant is the following; "04HR" "E11" (enclosed in a circle), followed by "12,5" "8195" In the centre of the glass is a small circle with four short lines radiating from it. So far as I can tell from the little information I have on the US 1996/7 Taurus and Sable models they did not have these driving lights but they may well be fitted to other Ford models or even to other auto makers' vehicles. Question: Can anyone identify these lights and any vehicles to which they were fitted?. If I can find what vehicles they were/are fitted to I hope to be able to get either a lens or a complete light assembly from a US supplier (or wrecking yard if necessary)at a fraction of the Australian price.

A.A good thing to try is do a search on yahoo or other search engine for auto parts. I've seen plenty of places that offer new and used parts. As for what it goes on try and look at other Ford products in Australia and see if they show up.
