Please share your experiences of selling used car audio stuff.

Q.My lease will be up in a year and I was thinking about selling all my car audio gear and keeping it stock in the next vehicle. How hard is it to sell your used equipment? Any tips?

A.I've made a point to have equipment in good/excellent condition, advertise in places where traffic is decent, be honest with potential buyers, and be very specific with descriptions. Perhaps that'll get your started for your selling sessions. A lot of sotres will sell stuff on consignment and take a small cut from the selling price. Often though if you are going to buy your new gear through them they will give you credit for the full selling price. Now the car has been sitting outside beside my apartment for over 2 years. The car loan has finally been paid off. The battery has since died since I got lazy and didn't start it and run it for a few months. Basically if somebody wanted to take a look at the car it's great but they can't test drive it EVEN if they boosted the battery.
