The Best Used Cars To Buy

Q.You must be a car salesman? You think we should just pay top dollar for your cars and accept what we get, no questions asked! Why cant I ask advice on how best to repair the things that I have found wrong with this used car. The used car dealer that I bought from represents their cars as only the best used cars. They come with a 1 year warranty factored into the selling price. I'm looking for advice on how best to deal with these issues and get the car into the best reasonable shape I can before passing it on to the wife.

A.I believe I am offering constructive information which is you cant squeeze anymore performance out of a used 6 year old car, and thats the best your going to get out of a 6 year old car. 1 year warranty used, vs a new car that has 3 year warranty for bumper to bumper and 5 year powertrain if I am not mistaken. My best advice is to buy a new car for your wife if you are so concerned about the reliability and little things that can go wrong with a car, my wife and kids would definitely get that if their safety and minimal stress was my top concern. Probably 97 Camry, did it say 97 Camry that runs like new, has a redesigned suspension, with no used car problems whatsoever? Thats the reason some buy new and some buy used. New car buyers like myself and many others dont want the hassle of used car woes. I believe the car is acceptable as can be, and thats my advice, to give to anyone. Its not going to get any better than that. Why do you think the warranty is 1 year as opposed to the new 3 year, because even the dealer knows that thing is going to act up so they want to minimize the repairs because its used.
