Used Auto Parts Charlotte

Q.I've been told I'll be inheriting a 1990 Audi 80 from my sister. As I will mostly be using it at school in the charlotte area, I'll be far away from my dad and his trusty (and a little too often used mechanics. I was wondering if any of you have had experiences with charlotte area mechanics and could advise me which ones to seek out and/or avoid. I'm not a very car oriented person, so someone who won't screw me over without me having to go in and tell them exactly what I think is wrong would be a plus.

A.You can try the used auto parts charlotte, which is very good. Well, I don't live in Charlotte, but i have been there many times. Luckily, my car has never broken down while in town. However, I have gotten many, many parts for my Audis and my friends' VWs at Lakewood Auto Parts. This is a combination salvage yard / repair shop that specializes in VW's Audis, Volvos and Saabs. I don't know if they have any 80/90's there, but the have plenty of 4000's, 5000's and quattros. They should be in the book. If not, drop me a line and I will scrounge up their card and get you the information. .
