Q.My wife left my convertable top down during one of the biggest rain storms of the season. After we bailed the car out and let is sit in the sun for a few days all was well except that the glues in the foam seat cushions on the drivers seat gave way and the seat bottom and back basically have become flat and very uncomforatble. I am looking for a very good condition seat either Drivers or Passengers side. I am in New York.

A.Peter, there is a place in Terryville connecticut - about two hour drive from NYC - if thats where you are... It is called websters auto salvage (I think) on route 6 in terryville. Last time I was there, they had about 10 900's and about 8 9000's, I think they had a tan lether 9000 - Not surre if the design is the same. I had a torn up drivers seat and used a fairly good (leather) passenger skin to replace the drivers seat. I think I paid about $50 bucks for the whole thing - I wangled the price some though, because I had to do the reupholsering myself. If your leather is good, you can use the foam from a seat with bad leather etc. Give em a call.
