Q.Anyone know of any junkyards in Western Massachusetts (preferably Amherst/ Northampton) that have Saab 99s for parts? Any year is okay, but I'd especially like to find earlier and carbureted models (mine is a 1974). Also, anyone who has a 99 and wants to talk about it let help me

A.I know it isn't in your neck of the woods, but I would try B&D Used Auto Parts Inc. on Route 2A in Shirley (MA). I have found them to be a hell-of-a-source for anything. (they will give you a ride on a Toyota truck retrofitted like a trolley to the section of the yard you need...) The # is 800-752-0146. The B&D in Lunenburg is 508-582-4348. Another probable source is Tuttles in New Ipswich, NH... (route 123) their # is 603-878-2036. And of course, being on an info-roll.... A B C Used Auto parts in Leominster @ 800-252-8073. Being a NH-ite... I would try Tuttles first... SAABs don't last to long in our part of the woods... we've been salting in the winter heavily in the last few years... if you know what I mean....
