Used Auto Parts Rochester NyQ.I live right where it all started, Rochester NY home of G.Eastman, and because of this many family members use to work for them ( in the good old days). Several years ago when my great-aunt past on I was left with her camera collection ( and her 25yrs of service coin, a large penny with G. Eastman on the face and some inscription on the back). Anyway that's not the point, what I would like to find out is ... I have a Cine-Kodak Magazine16, it says Made in the U.S.A. Rochester NY I also have several used Kodachrome Film and maybe some unused film. When was this made? I also have the box it came in. Is it worth much or would it just have a personal value. Second I have a Kodak Stereo Camera, on the lens IT says 35mm f/3.5 Kodak anaston lens. inside it says use kodak 335 or 135 film made in Rochester NY. There is no date in this one either, and as before personal value or other? Third, Kodak Automatic 35f camera, uses 135 film, also made in Rochester NY. There is more I have a Instamatic X-15 Camera, which uses 126 film, made in Rochester. I also have others however there in storage. I use these as decor in my office. I would love to be able to use them, however I am sure the film is no longer made. Now should I continue to use these to hold up my books and or paperweights? or should I rap them up and put them in a save place? Anyone know? A.he medal would be of interest to many collectors. Not worth its weight in gold but worth far more than its weight in silver. It is 16 mm so it is of more interest than most Kodak cine cameras. -To users rather than collectors especially if it allows stop go animation (try as I might I cannot remember for certain if it does but I think so). Film still available from specialist stockists. Built 1945 to 50. Worth the price of two or three bottles of Jamesons. I think you are describing the 'Kodak Stereo'. Uses 35 mm film. A good and easy camera to use. Film still available. In some parts of the world they command a decent price. Made 1954 - 1959. How can you bear to just leave it on a shelf? Did you sell your soul when you were younger. Not as good as the Stereo Realist but proof that Yanks were the masters of making easy to use, reliable 35mm stereo cameras Uses 35 mm film. An easy camera to use but the auto feature is prone to bugger up after a few years. Film still available. Proof that Americans cannot build decent 35mm cameras unlike the Germans, the Japanese, etc. But at least the yanks tried unlike the Irish and the Canadians who ought to be ashamed of themselves. Built 1965 - 69. Instamatic film. Load of crap. 1970 - 76. (post 1972 they changed the logo on the front to the modern one so you can date it with even more accuracy) You can get the film from some guy in Mexico -but why would you want to? Further reading. Some of these links may be dead I have not checked some of them for several months.
