Q.I used an auto parts degreaser on my car engine Now my power locks wont work the car vibrates harder and the power locks dont work after the car's off and my radio resets it self. I was careful to cover the fuse and battery during the process. So i dont see whats wrong and how to fix it?

A.You can try the used auto parts in Utah A radio reset is a clear sign off power loss from battery. Check battery posts closely...also check engine ground and ground from battery to body. Running rough is most likely due to moisture..as in wet plug wires/distributor cap..if newer then coil packs/plug boots. The problem will likely go away by itself...till next time engine compartment gets wet. Look at a wiring schematic. There should be constant power to your radios memory to keep it from resetting. I would assume that there is also a constant power wire to the door locks as well. Check to see if you have blown a fuse for you door locks. If your radio is working with the key on, the fuse for it should be OK. If not check the fuse for it as well. The vibration your car has is it related to ground speed or engine speed. Ground speed could mean tire balance. Engine speed could mean engine mounts or if the engine is misfiring it can cause a vibration. When did you clean you engine? Has it been a couple of days and this problem is still going on? If you just cleaned it try and blow out your electrical connectors with air and get them dried out.
