Q.I have a 5 year old sable, female, ferret for sale. We just don't have time to give her a good loving home. We are asking 25.00 obo for her and cage. We are located in between Reading and Allentown Pennsylvania. do you have any ideas about this?

A.It is good to put a "price tag on your ferret" to ensure that they DO go to a good home and are not adopted on a whim only to be abandoned later. i see your reasoning, but i have seen 500 dollar dogs from the pet store abandoned and put to sleep. Also, i just was a witness to a family that bought a 500 $ dog and then cause they couldnt potty train it they sold it to this gal by my girlfriends house for 250, and they let it out with no fence and it got smashed by a truck and killed. not that it happens all the time but still.
